Discover Serengeti, Tanzania

We are happy to help you plan a visit to Tanzania for a wildlife safari. Tanzania is a popular tourist destination for many reasons, including its abundance of unspoiled nature, stunning landscapes, majestic mountains (including Africa's highest peak, Kilimanjaro), lakes, rivers, and vibrant culture.

Tanzania is home to several national parks and game reserves, both in the north and south of the country. Tanzania is a fascinating place to visit if you want to see a wide variety of wildlife, including tree-climbing lions in Lake Manyara National Park, chimpanzees in Mahale National Park, elephants in Tarangire National Park, beaches, birds (both migratory and resident), and the great wildebeest migration in Serengeti National Park, among many other exciting things to do.

When to visit Tanzania

During the dry season, which lasts from June to October and December to January, Tanzania is at its most picturesque. This is because, with little to no rainfall in the national parks, vegetation is at its lowest, and wild animals congregate around water sources to drink. This makes for excellent wildlife viewing, and you can even catch a glimpse of the great wildebeest migration.

If you are  interested in seeing migrating bird species, the best time to visit a Tanzanian national park is during the wet season, which is from March to May and November.

When you plan a safari with Gorilla Hub Tours you will  have the opportunity to see some of the world's most unique animals in Tanzania's many national parks.
